The CocheScan Chrome extension detects the car you are looking at, on coches.net, AutoScout24, Wallapop, Milanuncios or anywhere else, and instantly shows you a CocheScan Score, an analysis and the option to request a professional inspection, all from a side panel.
It is not yet published on the Chrome Web Store; it installs in a couple of minutes in "developer mode" (instructions just below). It is free and requires no account.

The car does not need to be on CocheScan. Open it on any listing on any portal and it analyses it.

A number from 0 to 100 calculated from the listing's actual price, mileage and age, not a generic opinion.

It does not spy on your browsing
It never sends the full page anywhere, only the vehicle data already extracted (make, model, price, km...), and only when you open the panel.
How to install it (2 minutes)
1. Download and unzip
Download the .zip above and unzip it into a folder you will not delete (the extension runs from there; it is not "installed" anywhere else).
2. Enable developer mode
Go to chrome://extensions, turn on the "Developer mode" switch in the top right corner.
3. Load it
Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder cochescan-extension you unzipped. The icon is now in your Chrome toolbar.
How to disable or remove it
To disable it temporarily: go to chrome://extensions and turn off the blue switch on the CocheScan card. It stays installed but stops working until you turn it on again.
To remove it completely: on the same page, click "Remove" on the CocheScan card (or right-click the toolbar icon → "Remove from Chrome"). You can also simply delete the folder you unzipped; without it, Chrome disables the extension automatically.
All the data the extension stores ("My cars" history, session) is kept only in your browser and is deleted together with the extension.
